CASE STUDY:
This branded documentary-style project was commissioned by BBC Storyworks to showcase the work of CINIM, a Calgary-based organization supporting mental health initiatives.
As Director of Photography, I focused on a naturalistic, story-driven visual approach emphasizing authenticity, human connection, and visual restraint. The cinematography was designed to support real-world environments and interviews while maintaining a polished aesthetic consistent with BBC Storyworks’ global standards.
The final film blended documentary techniques with branded storytelling, creating a piece that felt both credible and emotionally engaging for an international audience. BBC Storyworks has since gone on to commission me for eleven more projects.
